Best tip is to not drink, coffee, soda or anything 24 hours before, nothing but water…I donate my pint in 3 minutes every time that way….I see people who drink almost nothing but coffee and soda and they can take 30 mins or more.

The same applies when donating plasma as well as donating blood.

The phrase “blood from a turnip” comes to mind.

Can also try breathing faster and straining. This increases your heart rate and blood pressure. The nurses don’t always see the humor, though, and it’s a little disconcerting if the needle pops out. Gotta put some effort into it if you want to win!

Probably better to do it that way than to use a large orange juice squeezer !
