I don’t think Lucy ever wants to become one of the Budweiser Clydesdales, although she would be great for delivering pony kegs.

Horsey booties? I have seen some for dogs. Well now I get to see what summers are like in Maine. Danea gets to wear her same outfit and not break a sweat. Here in the old dominion I have to romp around in shorts only.

I love Lucy and Danae. They remind me of when I was a young girl who spent the day with my horse. What magic!

Lucy is not wearing fuzzy slippers; she’s a miniature Clydesdale.

Actually we used to make “Booties” for our horses to wear in the winter as the ice and snow could build up in the hooves and force it’s way under the shoes causing a horse to come down lame. Generally made from burlap bags. They actully helped with traction too, something like snow tires for horses.

I’d love to own a Clydesdale but I can’t where I live so I drink Budweiser in honor of them. I honor them more in the summer than other times.

I always bug my husband that I want a Clydesdale so he got me a statue of one for Christmas a few years ago–punk! LOL.

You can get boots for horses and some brands come in all kinds of neat colors–orange, purple, lime green. So many choices, so few horses!!!

i agree, summer should be spent laying low, attempting to keep cool and doing ABSOLUTELY nothing that you don’t want to do. And, thanks to record unemployment records, more and more people are getting the chance to do just that! just don’t plan on vacationing in the Gulf! :)
