…I have a nephew-in-law like that…I was trying to (lightly) explain to his son that the language he was using was inappropriate for the dinner table (no swearing, just some toilet humor) (kid was actually having fun with me, his eyes were twinkling/mischievous), when my nephew-in-law had had enough of his kid’s behavior, and started yelling “Didn’t you hear your aunt? Stop using that *%^$^%% language at the table!!!”I just rolled my eyes, what can you do? His son actually does listen to me sometimes, for some reason. Maybe because I don’t yell at him, or use foul language…who knows…

That’s the problem with kids; they never listen to what you say. Unfortunately they will imitate what they see: usually the bad habits.

“The best education of children is of no use at all: they just imitate you anyway.”
