Had some rain yesterday afternoon. Going to be cooler today but sunny.
Still cleaning up the porch and den and getting rid of all the unnecessary accumulation of junk over the years. I need the rubbish men to come more than once a week.
Howdy Vagabonds.The TV weatherguy tells me that the temps will be high 40s to low 50s. At least the rain has stopped.. Emily’s BridgeThe new Haunted Vermont avatar is the Gold Brook covered bridge in Stow, VT.The most told story is that a young girl named Emily was to meet her lover on the bridge and run away and elope. The lover failed to show up and she waited well into the morning hours.Finally the grief stricken girl climbed into the rafters and hung herself.She haunts her bridge to this day..BOO!!.Have fun everybody..ttfn
Arthur, when we first moved to Nevada, we had twice-a-week trash pick up. I had never even heard of that. After about a year a new company took over and it went down to once a week. For me that was okay because we rarely fill those huge barrels even in a week. But you should have heard the howls from folks who didn’t want that stinky garbage sitting in their yards and garages for a WHOLE WEEK!
David, I am glad that you are feeling well enough to try to participate in your golf tournament. Have fun!
75 degrees outside on its way up to 90. Should be a good day.
Ladies fellowship meeting today. I always enjoy these meetings, and we will have a few newbies this week.
