See, that’s the problem. She “Defragged” the server. She should have “FRAGGED” it (C-4 usually works best for this).Remember kids: “There are few problems that can’t be solved with the proper application of high explosive.”

Your first thought may be that when you ‘delete’ the file, the data is gone. Not quite, when you delete a file, the operating system does not really remove the file from the disk; it only removes the reference of the file from the file system table. The file remains on the disk until another file is created over it, and even after that, it might be possible to recover data by studying the magnetic fields on the disk platter surface.

Before the file is overwritten, anyone can easily retrieve it with a disk maintenance or an undelete utility..There are freeware products that will ERASE data by overwriting the files using one or multiple passes (up to the Gutmann standard of 35 passes). There are also Computer CLEANER freeware that can wipe clean the drive’s freespace or even completely wipe a drive. Again using the overwrite method.

Eventually everyone will ask the obvious question, “Why did she go to so much trouble, exposing secrets to hackers, when she could have simply used State Department systems?”

_ “Why did she go to so much trouble, exposing secrets to hackers, when she could have simply used State Department systems?”_.Red letter day! We actually agree on something!.As a government worker who has had his personal information exposed to hackers more than once, I’m surprised Hillary never used the excuse, “But my server was more secure than the Pentagon’s!”

I’m sure Stantis (or whoever is ghosting this strip) is suffering due to the lag time in running these cartoons..What with Hillary looking more and more like history, I’m sure he’d rather be taking shots at the current frontrunners in both parties, instead of running these lame bunny strips!.Come to think of it, a month or so ago, Stantis seemed quite cozy with Bernie. To date, I would have to say that Bernie was the only candidate Stantis didn’t have anything bad to say about..Could this be an endorsement?....Uh-oh. Got to duck. Incoming tomatoes!
