Roy Batty and I spent Sunday with the paper, I was stuck on page five for a few hours he was stuck on page 7, I gave up and he proceeded to spend the rest of the day using it as a bed.

Good morning, everyone. Wish me luck, I am going to try my hand at making crabapple jelly from scratch, cooking down fruit to extract juice, concentrating juice, then adding sugar and pectin.
Sheee’s baaaccckkkkk!!!!!!I’m still having trouble getting into my personal email, but since I can log in here, I thought I would give you all a first hand update. Gweedo has done as good a job as he could with what he had to work with.A week ago after surgery (didn’t get out until almost four in the afteroon) I had two things on my mind. One, if I only had a dollar for ever time that day I had said the word “ouch”, I would be rich! Two, I did not, nor did I for a day or two believe them when they said I was going to be so glad I had done this. It took until closer to friday before I actually believed that. Everyone is so impressed and just blown away with my progress after having BOTH hips done. I guess I am doing better than some that only have one at a time. I am so very glad that I don’t have to do this all over again in three months.I want to thank everyone for the phone calls and good thoughts. I would thank each of you individually, but I do know if I tried to list everyone, I would miss someone.I am doing everything except stairs. Over the next couple of days I really want to work on that, because as soon as they feel I can do stairs, I can go home!!! We did have a few minor scares over the last few days, even had an ultra sound yesterday just to make sure everything was okay.You have no idea how much I miss my babies! I knew I would, but it has been a lot worse than I ever thought it would be.I will continue to try to get into my private email. This borrowed pad refuses to give me a place to sign in. The friend taking care of the kids also defrosted my fridge the other day and unplugged my answering machine at the house. Anyone that called me on my land line…….I lost your message. Sorry.They just came in and I will go take my shower. Thank you all for being there or me. It made it a lot easier than it would have been otherwise.More maybe later. :-)

This is a strange day, every post I made last night either has been ignored, or in the cast of BCN I provided a translation, someone came later and did the same and everyone thanked them! I’m going to go look in a mirror to see if I’m still here……….

But I need it as much as any of my students (who are mostly older than I), I turned 69 today and my oldest student is 90.Beth,Our teachers were certified too at one time. I live in Houston, Texas, just outside the city in the county. Our class is at the indoor county pool three times a week and the classes are free. The pool is 85 feet across in the 4 ft section and in the summer we have about 65 or more people. Our oldest is 98 yr old man. He’s a hoot. One time our instructor, turned her back ,he splashed her with water and when she turned back around, he pointed to me! Pill! We became close friends after that and are now jokingly referred to as the “Trouble Makers”. >^00^<
@Ppyfss: So glad to hear from you in person. Mailed my card to you early this morning….then later I realized I forgot to enclose a donated ‘whisker’ from one of my boys. Well, at the rate you are going you will soon be surrounded by your own sets of whiskers at home. Am so happy you got both hips done at once.
That naughty big mouth, Chesney, is setting an awful example for little Oliver and the others! He needs some kind of re-training. Hey, Graham, how’s that for a potential story line? Time outs do NOT seem to work…maybe community service of some nature would (another potential story line?).

I’ve been out of service since early Friday morning.You won’t believe the voice-mails, e-mail, & back comics I have to catch up on! I’m off to catch up from Friday (Aug 21), so I won’t miss any news or the cute pics. Sorry it’s too late to respond—-I’m sure I missed some GOOD ones.I just got on, and then… my computer died.
