I don’t want to be a sceptical jerk, but Gilchrist didn’t start doing 9/11 remember strips until about 2006, and it feels like maybe at that point he noticed it gets all the america-obsessed and religious folk all excited, then committed to doing it for the next decade. These strips make me uncomfortable because they feel strategic
