Phantom – Guran played him like a guitar string!Judge Parker – Wake me when something happens in this story.Rex Morgan – Milton’s mind snaps back to reality.Mark Trail – Is Carole Bender writing this?Foxtrot – I didn’t get it at first, because in Texas we don’t call it a pop. We call it a coke, with a little c.

Rex Morgan – Milton can remember some things, and with careful prompting by Heather, can appear normal.Judge Parker – Wouldn’t the reporter and the public expect a work in progress to be a little messy? And Neddie could just say “We hope or begin hiring in about a month”. No problem.Mark Trail – Is the skull purchased at a garage sale have anything to do with the story, or did we just waste a couple of days?

If not for the Spanish version, I might never have realized how much Bill Amend relies on puns.

Apart from the “pop” fizzle, I notice that it replaces a quart with a gallon. I guess people who use the metric system aren’t as familiar with quarts. Shame: A liter is much closer to a quart than to a gallon.
