Rita is so delusional, it’s a wonder she’s not in an asylum. Of course, some would say that the company she works for IS an asylum, being run by the inmates!
I like Trump’s candidacy, if only because he speaks his mind on issues, and doesn’t mouth wishy-washy platitudes designed to offend as few as possible. I find that so refreshing. I also like the fact that this is obliging the other Republican candidates to step up and clearly pronounce publicly what their stances on the issues are. I’m not saying that I agree or disagree with Mr. Trump (or that I like him personally), just that his presence in the race is making this election cycle a lot more interesting than it has been in quite awhile.

I think Rita’s shading should be the one of a lantern pointing upwards from below her face, like the one used in cartoons when they are telling scary stories around the campfire (then again, that would change the whole room illumination to make it consistent)

corpcasselbury and johnzakour I agree with you both on Trump. He is saying what a lot of folks want to hear and more importantly, WHAT THIS COUNTRY NEEDS! We are getting tired of PC, watching everything you say for fear of offending someone, and I could go on, but I won’t. If nothing else, I think some of the others running may “grow some balls” and realize a lot of what he says, though not always articulately stated, is CORRECT!
There y’ go- when you get completely contrasting reactions, that’s when you go with your gut. The shading is only for an ominous feel in today’s panel; it’s not a permanent addition to the art.

I like the drawings line or shaded… I only have trouble with ones where the figures are small and there are lots of words.
