I see a trip to buy a new stove and a very familiar salesman coming up!

There are only 4 parts in a gas stove: valves, burners, igniters, and orifices. There are 4 parts in an electric stove, switches, wires, connectors, and heating elements.

When waiting for parts for our stove we cooked our pizzas on the outdoor grill, among other things.

I would suggest that we have Skeezix ask our good friend, the philosopher and scholar, Joel, to help him fix the stove. Joel could easily fix it and get it back up to snuff in no time.

Fortunately for Skeezix this is Gasoline Alley… he’s got the time.

Absolutely true, the thermostat on my old electric range went out and the cost of the replacement part itself was within $20 of an entire new range.

My gas stove in 1985 at my rented house was at least 45 years old. I miss it
