Mom sent my little brother to the corner store to buy a bottle of ketchup. He came home empty handed because they didn’t have an ketchup, but they had some cat-soup in a ketchup bottle that really grossed him out.
By the way, that was 60 years ago in a small farming town when you actually COULD send your 7 year old down to the corner store without getting arrested for child negligence.
