Okay, so now it’s too late to get to the roof, even if the helicopter were working.

Well, it seems that there is some kind of a Plan B, and it’s called Suite 6B, conicidentally. Sounds interesting.

By the way, I like the big black heart on the Blackhearts helicopter. Always label everything!

Bribery’s “Sigh” & sad face say a lot. I know that, yesterday, I said he wasn’t the suicidal type, but I did forget that Miss Deal had to stop him fro slitting his throat with a jagged cat food tin lid at the end of his first episode. Wonder what 6B has. (Personally, I hope it’s an escape pod!)

Well I’ll be damned…..Bribery is a lot more calm and collected this time around….he actually has a backup plan. Color me shocked.

Maybe Bribery has a “Doc Savage”-style private elevator in Suite 6B.

Interesting that Bribery (wimpy little runt that he is and would be no match for T-Bolt) is asking her to ‘escort’ him to 6B. I think those who have suspected he is not self-mobile are probably on the right track!

This is an exciting story. There is so much happening on the lower floors, and now Mysta is jacking with the escape helicopter on the roof. Go Mysta! I think Mr. Bribery will escape in a moon car. That’s my guess.

Great art today! Mysta in action (rowr): I really like those melting helicopter blades, emphasizing her power.An unusual look for Bribery: disappointed.Ending with a silhouette of Bribery and T-Bolt.-It begins on the roof in daylight, and moves steadily darker. Foreshadowing of dark things ahead?

Hooray! The secret escape plan! Can’t wait to see what it is!-I think Suite 6B has to be the cafeteria.With everything Mike and Joe have packed into this story (from Bribery to shrunken heads, and from Mysta to Annie), the only thing missing is the kitchen sink.

Didn’t Mr. B Already survive a fall off a building? ?? Also, Could T-Bolt e not Lee Ebony, but a sister/cousin/relative who’s trying to turn her life around by helping the good guys?

This storyline is great.

SDM and I think locks on roof access doors are on the INSIDE; not outside. But we don’t want that to get in the way of a good yarn!

Even if Bribery escapes, it appears that it will be without the gold.

“Sir, the Moon Maid is melting the lock on the roof access door!”Indeed. What a fabulous strip. Mysta is fully in control of her powers. Mr. Staton knows exactly how to portray Mysta. Her beauty, power and determination are manifest in the excellent first panel. I am always pleased to see Mysta. She looks stunning in her classic attire. As others have noted, her iconic ensemble is an essential element of her character. Comments are quite extensive and extremely positive whenever she appears. As wonderful as it is to see Mysta, it is also nice to see so many fondly recalled “lurkers” resurfacing to join the celebration of our favorite character.It is always exciting when Tracy, Sam, Lizz and Lee take care of business. Still, for me, the excitement of Mysta’s return to the strip is especially captivating. Honeymoon’s relationship with her Onee-San, along with her own changeling nature, makes for the kind of strip that drew me in as a kid in the ‘60s. Anyone who wants a sweet reminder of the ways Mysta’s transformations have progressed since the close of what I think of as the first chapter of Mysta Reborn, may want to take a look at my shared collection. I have selected nearly 50 strips that represent, for me, the highlights of this fantastic, on-going saga. Suite 6B? The possibilities are intriguing. Didn’t Warbucks say that Smith wasn’t the only one working on a “Blue Image” type of invention? I don’t know how Bribery will escape the tightening noose, but I can’t wait to see. With Mysta on hand, anything is possible. One of the many strengths of Mr. Curtis’ storytelling is the variety and use of locations. Tracyville is a vivid city filled with interesting people and places. I love the way the story has converged at the Ace Tower. From the street, to various floors and rooftop, fascinating events unfold and time slows down. What a great time to be a Tracy fan!

Aha! The mysterious Suite 6B! I wonder what that hides? In any case, Mr. Bigg unwittingly is trapping himself by bringing along T-Bolt (probably a.k.a. Lee Ebony). Meanwhile, Mysta continues to wreak havoc from the roof and should soon have full access to the stairs and the ability to pursue her relentless rescue mission. Will the MCU make it up to floor Six in time to take part?

Oh wow! Mysta’s melting chopper blades and hearts at the same time! Beautiful panels today by Joe Staton! I was beginning to wonder if we would never see Mysta, after she landed on the roof.

Could that be the theme from M.A.S.H. playing in Biggie’s head? Now THAT would be a surprise!

This has been one of the most interesting threads that the new team has developed. Mr. Bribery’s expression was interesting, and it makes me wonder what suite 69 has in it.

Personally I cannot work out what it could. His resignation to his fate sounds somewhat suicidal but also wanting to go to a particular suite suggests something else. Perhaps he wants to just go there, have a nice drink, and wait for the police?

You guys have a lot of exciting ideas about what Suite 6B could be. I hope that whatever it is isn’t too disappointing. I hope Mr. Bigg has an interesting plan there.

What ‘logical’ reason does B-B Eyes have for telling his men to “open fire” on the Police that are ‘expected’ to arrive via the Elevator ?His Group, would be the first to encounter the police, other than the person earlier accepting the Search Warrant.

Everyone in the group (save Blaze, who’s not there?) has current charges, dating back to 2012 (or before), but are all now out - free, on Bail, pending trials.Thanks perhaps, to the Legal skills and “know how” of Mr. Kleen.<p.They’re not known to have committed any fresh breech of Law, and are currently UNAWARE that Bribery has that ‘stolen’ Gold shipment in his possession.

I agree Bribery has not given up on his life or freedom.The “sigh” is a realization that his criminal plans have gone up in smoke and he is resigned to that.

If T-Bolt and Bribery are now alone and T-Bolt is on the side of the cops, why doesn’t she just go ahead and take Bribery into custody now?

@Sydney PhillipsBribery told BB-Eyes, Doubleup and Blaze about the gold on June 29. He said they were the only ones who knew about the gold being in Blackheart possession. He later showed T-Bolt the gold. Still, I agree that BB overreacted. He would appear to have had deniability as to knowledge of the gold being on the premises. Hard to see how BB gets away “kleen” this time.

Moon Maid is my Dick Tracy drug. Everything is good whenever I see her in the story. I want her to have her own story again so I can be happy every day. Sounds strange I know but it works. Let’s see more of her.

This story has really gotten better as it goes along. A lot of what’s happening has been guessed in advance but doesn’t detract from the story because we never know for sure what’s going to happen next. We’ve still got Mumbles, Apollo, Venus and 3 Munro brothers roaming around on floors 4 and 5 apparently so some gunfights are still in the cards. I was expecting Bribery to have an emergency escape hatch as he did in 1966. Question is will he take T-Bolt with him? If he goes alone will she try to stop him? We will find out soon.

We’ve learned that almost all crime in the city is now under the supervision of the Blackhearts. There really aren’t all that many people in the Blackhearts headquarters, as far as we can see, so we have to assume that the BB-Eyes cartel is in charge of a lot of it. I imagine that their office area is teeming with incriminating evidence.

I have no qualms about saying I love her, she’s been a heartthrob ever since she first appeared a few years ago. What’s wrong with loving a comic character anyway? So what? Mike Curtis loves Superman, no big deal. I love Mysta, no big deal. Or is there a double standard we should know about? I wish we could see Mysta looking like this all the time. Mike C. and the people doing the strip don’t think that’s a good idea, for why I don’t know. From reading all the comments today and yesterday it sounds like everyone likes the moon clothes.
