You may not like the the Democrats policies, but when you compare it to the Republican policy (“anything the democrats want is bad”), it is a better choice.
The cartoon is about the NYT publishing fake Republican leaks about Clinton (or fake Breitbarted videos about Planned Parenthood) without doing the necessary confirmations. It’s not a “liberal media” anymore.
Same pattern: GOP flacks make up a big lie. Public freaks out, despite transparent nature of falsehood. Congress moves to take decisive action before thinking, leaving women or minorities out in the cold again.
