The Center for Medical Progress that released the video this refers to is nothing more than a front organization for the anti-abortion group Live Action. The video is misleading and heavily edited. The Live Action group is now under investigation for a fraudulent application for 501C status.

To all: My son is an organ transplant co-ordinator. The sale or purchase or directing of organs based on money is illegal. Period. No washy-washy redirecting of funds, no payments based on need, no exceptions for any reason. Learn before you post libtard idiots.

The “cost” of removing, blah, blah, blah. Since a money value can be any number and could include everything from administrative costs to shop supplies this is just another poorly written law giving cover to organ merchants. My son in law’s father had a life-saving liver transplant, at the only program in the U.S. that would take his case, because he waited so long, ignoring doctors’ advice, because “Jesus would heal him.” When that didn’t work, he finally had the transplant, and that “slice and dice” included reimbursing for the cost of recovery and transport of the organ he received.

Looking into the actual SALE of organs overseas to provide for wealthy recipients is a far more frightening, and amoral if not immoral, process than using fetal tissues to do research and save lives, even those of other fetuses in distress that are being saved because of progress through research.

Abortion is a sad procedure sought out more by circumstance than choice. I have always claimed to be pro-life with the understanding that I am first, pro-quality of life. A child born unwanted/unloved and unsupported is bad thing.In this specific case, there are corporations and researchers who are willing to pay for fetal tissue.Laws as written are more likely to arrest the woman having the abortion and the abortion provider than those enabling and encouraging the abortion with cash payouts.The laws our two party oligarchy enact are often written by lobbyists and read by no one.
