That is quite an image to wake up to. It should have been drawn with multiple smaller pigs and more, fatter Congress People. Let’s not ignore the fact that our Politicians (who are in bed with many industries) in general need to clean up their act in addition to banks.
”They are patriotic in time of war because it is to their interest to be so, but in time of peace they follow power and the dollar wherever they may lead…”
Follow the money. Big business is giving much more to Republicans than Democrats. They used to be a little more balanced for practical reasons, but since Obama came into office, they have shifted to the Republicans.
I agree! I see that Citi is in the news (again) over at CNNMoney Headlines. Enter C into the Get Quote box & look at the volume = 1,086,111,770 ☜ That’s well over 1 billion shares in a day!
I don’t know how volume of stock relates to # of stock trades but there’s some serious $$ to be made if the tax shares (volume) was put at a penny per share!
How do they keep track of Capital Gains tax with the speed of transactions & huge volumes of transactions?
Is the ‘Reform Package’ (a vinegar douche and the appropreiate mouth /throat cleanser) that congress will use after they have sex with the financial industry?

The banks need to be broken up… they did it with the phone company and this is more important than Ma Bell!

in socialism, the government controlls businesses

Simple facts folks-
