A different kind of ‘time machine’. But using a steam roller to eliminate paving; doesn’t that defeat the purpose? After all, the steam roller is a diesel powered engine, belching particulate matter. Shouldn’t Horace have been using hand tools like picks and shovels to remove the paving?
Ironic that a bug bite woke him up, as he slept in the field. Not so many bugs thriving on those paved parking lots…
