I’m glad to see an elephant that has mastered the fast, silent, deadly Art of the Needle! —And another elephant that acknowledges this mastery! There is still hope!

All my knitting is done in the knowledge that beauty is shallow, but real damage goes deep to the bone.Takes about six weeks.Ref: Elvis Day. Victoria Day.

Elvis Day isn’t a real day. It’s just the day he died, mid-August.Victoria Day is real. It is the birthday of Queen Victoria. There is a fascinating story behind that one.

Yes she can knit a scarf around your nose and mouth faster than you can say WT? But can she bake a cherry pie Billy boy?

I’m tickled that you know that! All things Henson are special to my family, especially Fraggle Rock. One of my oldest daughter’s favorite childhood memories is watching it for the first time while visiting me and her new baby sister in the hospital. Fraggles and unlimited M&M’s, who wouldn’t be thrilled!? (The baby sister was, umm … ok… too.)
