When I was a poor college student, I crashed a lot of events where there was free food. One happened to be a wedding with two very tight knit families: I stood out like a biker gang member in a kilt. I was confronted by the brother-in-law. I tried to bluff my way through. But in the end, they ended up beating the living stuffing out of me. It was the last wedding I crashed.

Sam: “Already spoke with them. Apparently you’re crashing their wedding.”

When my niece got married there were 2 receptions at the same time at the country club they were holding it at.
There was a fair bit of crossing over to see what food/drinks the other side had.
