This one doesn’t make any sense. There is NO SUCH THING as an “annoying” wind chime….

And you can “use them up”: The strings get worn out and break, and short of that, they’ll get tangled up.

Our wind chimes are tuned to the key of C.

I would like to get two more tuned to F and G. That should create some REALLY fine music.

Retired Dude, I didn’t know they were tuned to a key…But that is, such a great idea. Most songs have a 1,4,5 chord structure. Oh, somebody has to do that….Thanks for the idea….I can’t believe nobody’s thought of it before…

No wind chimes exist that sound worse than a leaf blower. Even an electric one.

He’s using the wrong lawn-care device. Take a weed whacker to it!

I prefer wooden wind chimes to the metal ones.

Nothing, NOTHING, is more horrible than a leaf blower!!! They are the most hideous invention ever, for so many reasons:

    — The noise is just god-awful! (Where’s MY ear protection, you inconsiderate a-hole?!?)

    — Gas powered ones are chemically polluting as well.

    — They pick up particulates off the ground, and disperse them in the air. This is stuff like decaying plant matter, animal feces, etc. It’s harmless on the ground (where it should STAY), but leaf blowers make sure we all get to breathe it in! (allergies are already bad enough, thank you)

    — They’re not even efficient! I could rake that yard in half the time.

I want there to be a special circle in hell for people who use those, where there would be the noisiest stinkiest leaf blowers ever, blowing dirt and animal feces into their faces for all eternity!!

And when people use them to blow the leaves off their yard and into the street… clogged storm sewers and water pollution as well.

But leaf blowers are wonderful for quickly clearing modest amounts of snow off your sidewalks, driveway and if you are careful, from your car.

I love the sound of well-tuned wind chimes, but there are sets that are thrown together at random and are just noise.

On leaf blowers: I object to them most when businesses use them to blow stuff out from in front of their places; it’s like saying “this stuff is no longer my problem; it’s now yours to deal with”. On wind chimes: one of the weirdest and most pointless items I have ever seen was PVC wind chimes, marketed as being (not making this up) “for those who like the look but not the sound”.
