Given the various meaning of the word (including the two it’s best known to mean though some research says those two may have sprung up in the 19th century), could Sally be asking for mercy? Or maybe for Charlie Brown to show a little compassion? Does she need some affection? Or even a little peace? Maybe she wanted to say Aloha ’Oe.
