There was a story arc where Snoopy developed the bad habit of standing on his head on the sprinkler. I think he was cured when Charlie Brown or somebody just turned it off.
I had one of those sprinklers that shoots a beam of water that hits a plate that moves the head, etc. to water in a circular pattern. My former dog would bite at the spray. He’d play with that sprinkler for as long as we had it on.
The dog was mostly golden retriever. I bought him a Frisbee. On the back of the package they had instructions on how to teach your dog to play Frisbee. In he case of a golden retriever, it’s “Throw Frisbee” period.
When our kids were little, I made a “car wash” out of PVC pipe. Picture a “U” shaped device upside down like this “n” with holes pointing down drilled at the top.
All the neighborhood kids would run through this for hours, even riding their bikes and pulling wagons through the “car wash”.
When we installed a pool, this sort of faded in popularity. I wonder why???

I wonder if kids still do this? I remember running through the spinklers on a hot, summer day when I was a kid.
