@vfwiffoI agree with you. Every one who thinks she was too violent should put themselves in the shop owners place; all their labors up in smoke because of some unruly youth. Instead of making fun of her, she should be given an award for being a responsible parent, giving discipline exactly when needed.
She stepped in for the sole purpose of, as TJDestry put it, saving their children from the police. My wife and I were in Rome on the day of the Million Man March (2002), and we walked along with the procession for a half mile or so. Then we saw a phalanx of baby-blue helmets and riot shields, and decided it was time to go find some food. Turns out there was no violence. Rome’s no Baltimore.
@Night-Gaunt49You loose perspective there for a moment, making it a political issue doesn’t actually help with the discipline needed at that particular moment.
