That you want to blame them for doing nothing does not mean nothing was done.

For those intrested to know just what the US official response was, check http://www.deepwaterhorizonresponse.com/go/doc/2931/537663/

Doesn’t surprise me! They’re sitting in the dirt in a cave and don’t know a Jeep from a Pathfinder. Right where they belong!

“Yes, let us drive out to an oil platform in hundreds of feet of water instead of blowing up Comedy Central.”

Their faith would provide the road.

53 Hours & 20 Minutes may not be as quick as “Jack Bauer in 24” but it’s pretty good considering the Population Density of the East Coast and finding their “suspect”.

Actually, Larry, most AMERICANS can’t tell a Jeep from a Pathfinder, which is exactly why it was easy to drive the car into position, without suspicion.

OUTSTANDING! to all those who participated in a cooperative effort to catch this guy. It demonstrated how convoluted the system has gotten, but folks waded through and made it work!

A Jeep’s a vehicle with the word JEEP on it and a Pathfinder is some kind of SUV. I think. Do I win? I’m horribad at cars.

I have spent time in California, Texas and in the Gulf of Mexico, both on the beaches and scuba driving….. the beaches and the water were always clean!

Ten years ago, I spent the weekend in Cropus Christi Texas. I had heard there were oil spills there, however the water was clear with at least 4 or 5 feet of visibility. We spent a day, most of it in the water jet skiing and we had NO problems with oil or any other grim/dirt/filth.
