I remember one episode of the original Superman series where Lois, Jimmy and Perry White were talking to Clark Kent while he was in bed with his glasses off, and STILL didn’t say a thing.
In Lois & Clark, Clark would also comb his hair differently. It made a surprising difference, but not enough, not in real life. However, it’s a pretty old joke about not recognizing someone when he/she is out of uniform, and most uniforms aren’t stretched tightly over a heavily muscled, perfect body.
In one Superman comic if was revealed that Clark’s glasses actually made his secret identity possible. When he was in his secret identity Clark was unconsciosly trying to make people see him as different from Superman. When he wore his glasses the lenses (which were made from Kryptonian glass) amplified his unconcious desires and hypnotized people into seeing him as a different person.

That bottle of nail polish remover struts around like he’s some sort of bad-acetone Kryptonite.

Some Superglue, if he can’t even keep his glasses on his face!
And yeah, even as a small child I questioned the fact that Lois couldn’t tell Clark was Superman, just because he was wearing glasses.
When I took off my glasses to go swimming, nobody said “Who are you?”

No one can identify Superglue because he doesn’t stick around long enough.
