Considering who plays outfield, Snoopy really deserved that award. I’ve seen women and girls who I’d want on my team, Charlie Brown would want them too. But Patty, Frieda, and especially Lucy ain’t any one of them.
Years later, Snoopy would threaten to break Babe Ruth’s home run record before Hank Aaron could—Snoopy was all-hit AND all-field when he wasn’t falling asleep or pining for his supper dish!
