    It seemed like a good idea until he started the fire under the bed. Who could have guessed that he would accept his inner demons as more valid than the judgment of others and act on his own feelings, proudly accepting the disapproval of others as a sign of his superiority?

    He actually has a good point. I’d probably say the same thing to my own kids (though though gentler, just as something to give them food for thought).
