Husband, Daughter and SIL went up to Bonneyville on a picnic today (it was 73) We ate at a park on the Columbia River and fishermen kept bringing their boats in with Chinook Salmon! They didn’t have the trouble this guy had!
Those rascally boys! I hope they at least take their booty back to the warehouse and share with the others. It’s big enough to feed all 10!.Another success story, Queen! Congrats!
Funniest thing we ever saw: Our cat Toshie casually walk thru the cat door with an enormous gold fish in her mouth! Seems she discovered the next-door neighbor’s new pond. We kept it in the sink (yes it was alive and well) and waited for nightfall to sneak it back. Then we suggested a net over the pond (to protect the fish from seagulls. They totally bought it and netted the pond, No more “fishing trips” for Toshie!
Chesney and Jack have a fish story to tell the rest now, when they get home!Cat pics are great today. That black cat with the big cat fish looks like he is saying," You’re kidding, right?"
Love today’s strip…at least our sweet boys will not go hungry during this adventure….still, I eagerly look forward to seeing the prodigals return home to share their ‘catch’.
@Queen….HOORAY. I hope your former foster kitty a very happy and loving life in it’s ‘forever home’. What wonderful news. Good work!!!!!!!
Many years ago, when my son was about 6 or 7, he was enthralled with the story of Davy Crockett and the events at the Alamo. So much so that he bought himself a coonskin cap on one of our trips out West and wore it everywhere for a year. Later he kept it on a hook on his wall. One night he took it down and put it with his backpack to take to high school the next day to use as a prop. Before long here comes our cat, Skipper down the stairs with the cap in her mouth. She was a small cat and the cap was as long as she was so the tail was dragging between her legs. She was as proud as punch and was actually prancing – she had found a prize!!! Her sister, Wicket, took one look and followed her on into the laundry room as if to say, “Watcha got? Are you gonna share?” It was the cutest thing we ever saw and we were almost sorry to take the cap away from her!
