But their flags should be Saudi Arabian’s or Tel Aviv’s. Under no circumstances should they carry the flag of the United States of America.
Both parties mirror the American people, who, in their heart of hearts are convinced that violence solves problems. The republicans have staked out a certain level of “brand awareness” that being republican means being in favor of being “tough.” Then various factions of warmongers ratchet up tension and anxiety and “dare” the democrats to speak for peace and negotiations. If they do, the the republicans excoriate them for being Neville Chamberlain, as though every situation was like what the world faced then. When you layer the reflexive negativity the repubbies have for President Obama, (very, very, likely to be racist at its core), well you get 47 idiot senators who see nothing wrong with siding with the mullahs in Tehran. What’s really amazing about the gang of 47, is that not only do the mullahs understand the US constitution better than the senators, but they have is missed the stunt entirely, understanding that the senators are a bit nuts, and their “propaganda” is not to be taken seriously. But make no mistake, we Americans believe we have the right to invade, torture, bomb, kill, drone, attack, and generally commit mayhem whenever we feel like it. After all, nobody matters except American exceptionalism. We can do whatever we darned well please because we are somehow “better” than other humans on this planet. To be clear, I am in favor of brutal, violent retaliation if we are attacked. Retaliation should be swift and unmerciful. It should also be appropriate, measured, and cool headed, relying on fact, not anxiety, ethnocentrism, or the conviction that we need to correct the world’s ills.
The Democrats have “learnt their lesson” have they?Tell that to the Sudanese whose only pharmaceutical plant Bill Clinton bombed on a lie. Tell that to the Serbs Bill Clinton bombed on a lie. Tell that to the half a million Iraqi kids Bill Clinton starved to death on a lie. Tell that to the Libyans Barack Obama murdered in a lie, to the Afghans, Yemenis, Pakistanis, Somalis, Syrians, Iraqis, Ukrainians etc etc he continues to murder daily either directly or through his Nazi and jihadist proxies. Go ahead.
I’ll tell you something, we Asians would much rather have a Republican in power. At least they’re honestly evil and when they murder you they don’t pretend they’re doing it for your own good.
Sadly, too many Americans tout John Wayne as the epitome of “tough, hard-fighting, soldiers”- not realizing Wayne never served in the military and was during WW II, a draft dodger. Even that monkey’s uncle Ronald Reagan at least served in Special Services narrating training films for the Army. Hmm Robert Taylor, Robert Mitchum, Lee Marvin, better actors who actually saw combat duty would serve as better role models.
Would our chickenhawks please advise me how blowing the head off an eight-year-old little girl in her kitchen, in Bagdhad, to get even with a man her whole family hated, serves America’s peace-loving and kindly, purpose? let alone advances our standing in nations around the world who actually seek peace?
“So is illegal immigration, btw.”HOW do you figure that???-There are several industries that would be crippled without illegal laborers. Agriculture and meatpacking to name two. You can probably come up with more on your own.
There are also tons of restaurants and other small businesses who hire illegals.
If you wanted fewer illegals, you’d want those employers prosecuted.

Republicans are for anything that is Good For Business, no matter the human costs. Wars are exceedingly Good For Business.
So is illegal immigration, btw.
