Hey Zipi, zip it, OK? I’m lucky enough to have the income where I pay way more taxes than most people. I don’t particularly care for the amount of money that gets spent on war profiteering, but I don’t begrudge the poor folks food and shelter. What do we do, just let people starve? How charitable. I hope you don’t call yourself a christian (Im not one either, but I think my attitude on this topic may qualify me to claim christian values).
My grammar is beside the point. You’re using the “kiddie” defense, “But Johnny did it too!” To paraphrase Lady Liberal, “What difference does it make at this point?” The wannabe Royal Family’s selfish conceit damages the country by making self interest usual, no big deal. Ask not what you can do for your country, but what your country must give to you. Times have changed in the Democratic Party.
At this point in my life, I am weary of voting for the lesser of two evils. Hillary and Jeb will both owe many debts to their financiers, probably more than any previous president. Somehow, and soon, the educated people of this country will have to get an initiative, a referendum or something going to totally overhaul our election system, which removes donated money from election campaigns. It is plainly obvious to anyone that it is way out-of-control, and is killing this country. With the internet, and other inexpensive social media, television, I maintain that it is possible to fund legitimate candidates with a minimum of tax-payer monies, and enact legislation for network and cable TV to provide air time for debates and tone down the “partying”. For an elected candidate to have some sort of post-election party, and thank all the volunteers for their efforts is reasonable, but such galas which are paid for by corporations, and run into the tens of millions of dollars are NOT NECESSARY!, and should be curtailed. With all the political debate, huge arsenals, burgeoning populations, competition for energy, water & resources, greed and religious extremism in the world, electing capable, dedicated leaders is a most serious business, and we should begin to approach it as such.(Yeah, right! Like it will ever happen!!)
Republican Congressman Micheal Grimm not only broke federal law, he threatened on camera to throw a reporter off a balcony for daring to ask him about the investigation into his corruption. Republicans still reelected him.

You sharpen a knife that way, the blade will be completely dull. But seeing the Rethug bench, maybe that’s what’s happening.

America’s wannabe Royal Family insults it’s self every time they lie to the voters. Lady Liberal is just the most visible at the moment.

They will no doubt steal this election like W. Bush did.
