It doesn’t seem real to me. Why not just go to a court judge? He has authorization.

wouldn’t it be funny if they found out they accidentally got married for real ?

Did they get their license yet? If not, then I can’t see it being “for real.” Unless, of course, it’s a “Greg Evans Magical Deus ex Machina” license that appears out of thin air… when needed… ;-PPP

    > So in case you are unaware that Brad has made absolutely no inquiries into how you get legally married in California, this comic strip spells it out clearly.>Yep, Brad is absolutely clueless. (His taking Toni to all those completely inappropriate wedding venues last week shows that he’s clueless about a lot of things, including how to use the Internet.) Have they even taken out a marriage license? Since Toni has been trying to postpone the wedding for as long as possible, telling Brad that they’re officially married now will let her simply avoid it altogether.

In California a popular way to get married is in the County Clerks office. They give you the license and they can marry you. Bring some friends and flowers and go for it. Some of the work I did was done in the old Orange County court house and I saw lots of weddings. The staff always seemed to enjoy doing them.

In most states it is illegal to perform a wedding without a license. In Missouri where I was a minister for 12 years, it is a $500 fine. I always tell couples I want either a license or $500 cash in my hand before the wedding takes place. They have always chosen the license. It has been proposed in Oklahoma that ministers/churches be in charge of issuing licenses, which is the opposite of what many ministers, including myself, would like to see. I would prefer to see us go to what is done in most of the world. Marriage is a civil matter, done in the courthouse, and then if a couple wants the religious service, that is a separate event. I’d just as soon stop doing weddings for couples who really don’t take the religious aspect seriously, but just want the big fancy church wedding as a spectacle after they have already been living together for 10 years and have 3 kids.

criticism of direction and criticism of an error made are 2 different things ………….. it is fair to post about difference between naturist and naturism ……….. or about fact that in a Saturday strip a car was blue but in the next Monday strip same car was put as green, but not about direction of the characters …………… if Greg wants Bern to end up with Pyro, it is his decision, if he wants Gunther to end up in about one year with sun, it is his decision, we have no right to demand that Gunther ends up with Bern or Tiff, or say that Gunther with Sun is a mistake, we can say “I don’t like it” but not see it as a total error of his part, it is his choice of direction

yesterday I saw the newest episode of Disney channel show “lab rats” and thought it was stupid that the main guys took an antagonistic approach to the “bad guys” instead of being truthful and explaining to them why it was to their better advantage to see that their powers creator was a selfish guy who did not have their best interest in mind ……………. but that is what their writers decided to go with
