Go to big box stores. It looks normal there.

WuMo must be younger than I thought – no-one over the age of 26 is embarassed by buying such essentials. We oldies might smile if the person in front has condoms or fungal cream – but tampax or toilet paper? Can’t live without such things. I’d worry more if someone bought a single roll!

It is far more embarrassing for a young man to have to buy “sanitary supplies” for his sister or mother than buying large quantities of toilet paper. Everybody uses TP, and I don’t know anyone of any age who gets embarrassed at buying it.

I remember when I was a kid my mother sent to pick up some “pads.” I wasn’t embarrassed……THEN.

That’s funny. I remember Mom writing it on a piece of paper for me to take to the store…. If I remember, she wrote the brand name…. I sorta knew what it was all about, but I didn’t care. Much later, as a long-married guy, buying things like that didn’t make me flinch.

I agree. The only thing that MIGHT be embarrassing is “Super Ultra Mega strength TP”…. that would be hard to explain. As if anyone’s going to ask….

packratjohn: You mean they still make SUMSTP any more? With them making them narrower, thinner, and looser on the roll, I am wondering if they will disappear from the market. In all things, the product is shrinking, but the packaging remains the same, lest you notice their scam.
