Night-Gaunt49: At least he has taken down some. He doesn’t really have absolute power and the Curia is still powerful and full of friends of the worst bishops and cardinals. I see no sign he has stopped, just strategically pacing. He has done more than any pope in my lifetime with the possible exception of John XXIII, and that goes back to Mussolini’s friend, Pious XII. He has a lot more to go, but he is still around to do more.
