The Johnny Cash show was great. Artists like Neil Young, Linda Ronstadt, Derek and the Dominos, James Taylor, and Bob Dylan. And all this between June 7, 1969 and March 31, 1971.

Caufield, you are actually becoming a old person every single class day. Be like Frazz, for ignorance can be bliss(as he is about 31).

Hmm. Would Frazz get along with me? Maybe if he didn’t talk about exercising.

I think your reply is uncalled for. He wasn’t making a derogatory remark.

Did you know that Alice Cooper ran a 4:29 mile in high school? Not too shabby!

And Bird and MacDonald did “Father of a Boy Named Sue” in the 80s…. very funny, raunchy version.

I like to remind young’uns that each “age” is a club that some are not allowed to join. Every day, somebody checks out!

That dude named Alice played my brother’s high school prom. A.C. was just starting to get fame/notoriety and my brother’s class had been hugely successful at raising money for the band.

Alice in Chains, Marcy Playground, Marilyn Manson, Molly Hatchet, Sister Hazel…why so many drag names? And why so few masculine names for female singers and groups?

Always (and still) found Alice’s early stuff to be really boring, but I like him from the 90s forward.

I dedicate this song to the thought of Caulfield being stuck in that line, for a long time…

What’s with all the POINTING? This is Jef Mallet’s laziest artistic crutch. Do most people dramatically point at the person they’re speaking to, while making a not-all-that-dramatic statement?

These words he speaks are trueWe’re all humanary stewIf we don’t pledge allegiance toThe black widow!

Speaking as a 43 year old, I can say that getting old sucks. It sure beats the alternative, though – you either get old or you don’t.

Oh, and hearthknitter, the song is Della and the Dealer, but Google handled the search fine…Never heard the song before..And I’ve lived in Kazoo…Paw Paw , now…Thanks….BTW, can you believe that we can find the answers to almost all our musings, in 10 seconds? And we don’t have to be accurate in our requests…?

All due respect to the artists who are known for singing the songs, but credit Shel Silverstein for writing A boy Named Sue and Father of a Boy Named Sue.
