If you drink beer and get nasty drunk, you’ll break a beer bottle and threaten people with the shards.If you take narcotics and get nasty drunk, you’ll break a pill bottle and people will laugh at you.

My wife intended to have “the full experience” of childbirth. Many hours of labor took the shine off that apple. One little shot gave some relief and didn’t interfere with the birthing process. Why not take advantage of modern medicine if it’s available? Is the pain of childbirth supposed to be some Biblical punishment that women must endure? If men had to go through it, attitudes would be way different. My opinion.
