There are still some pianos around. I bought an old house and the piano went with it. Problem was, when the grandkids visited, it was bang bang bang!But for the last couple years its been thud thud thud!Grandpa – there’s something wrong with the piano!There is? Well I’ll have to have someone look at it,although it was just tuned in 1943. (re the chalked notation on the sound board)’course the towels I threw over the hammers might have something to do with that!

Multiple studies have shown that a student who takes music lessons on an instrument, will do better in all subjects, and particularly well in math.

The early the work the better.

I have know students who were A students and did well in school. After school they fell flat on their face and amounted to nothing. Yet there were students who did not do well in school and done very well in the business world. Calvin will go very far later in life.

I hope Susie marries Calvin someday…

With Calvin’s imagination, I’m sure he grew up to be an underground comix artist. ;-)
