An antihistamine to dry up the runny nose from running in the cold…I don’t run but I do walk and I always have to have tissues to sop up the snot. TMI?

Right… it gos over his head that someone would think a run isn’t a good date, but he does know it wouldn’t be romantic with a drippy nose.

Remember the old advice:“Don’t kiss your honeyWhen your nose is runny…You may think it’s funnybut it’s snot.”

(And no those lines aren’t mine…it’s some sort of ancient wisdom.)

Anyway… maybe, cos it’s Valentine’s Day, they’ll warm up together….a few hours after the race….

Actually I believe what you need is a decongestant to decrease the output of your mucous membranes. That said, most of the runny nose from running in the cold is tears that are protecting your eyes from the cold running down the tear ducts into the nasal passages. Tears are still basically thin mucous.

Antihistamines will reduce the tissue reaction to allergens by blocking the histamine cascade an hence stop a runny nose caused by that, but in mid-February there isn’t much pollen about.

Don’t you wonder why people don’t use the tool right at their fingertips? I get questions all the time in Facebook from friends/nieces/etc about stuff that they can look up themselves, but they know that I know how to use a computer. ….

Admit it. Your post toasties got soggy this morning and you’re letting your avatar get the better of your normal good humor.

The antihistamine comment made me think they were in the West. It has been so warm things are blooming, Spring allergies early! (I recalled Frazz is set in MI)

@bigpuma regards to your reply to my comment yesterday.Yeah. Frazz may be a lot of things, but a two-dimensional “Mr Perfect” “butter-wouldn’t-melt-in-his-mouth” boring Marty Stu he is not.Flaws are what make characters interesting and lovable, and Frazz has just as many as any of the other characters in the strip. His are just of a different kind from those of the characters who have physical flaws.

You have to have some sort of handle on something to search for it. I was with Varnes on this as well. Being so completely in the dark about what was going on, what would I look for? Runny noses? How does that relate to Valentines? (’cept as SusanSunshine puts it).
