Hmm, We? as in “is there a mouse in your pocket” we? Silver definetely isn’t a hands on type, Sprocket is the one with the dirty fingernails, a rift between brother and sister?….its been telegraphed for a while, starting at least when they where sitting on the bottom of the lake. Sprocket was cool and collected….I’m sure she wants to share credit for her hard work, as if(as the kids say)

It may be because she seems to have chopsticks in her hair, though I’m not sure that any real Japanese women actually put chopsticks in their hair.

Chopsticks no, but they do put Kanzashi or Hair sticks in their hair. I am assuming that Stiletta uses what is called a kōgai in her hair. This is a small Japanese hair pin that is also a tiny knife. There are many stories of Japanese women using their hair accessories as weapons. Often they would have poison spread on them, so that when stabbed with them the victim would die quickly. I remember the land lady in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Mrs. Meers having a blowgun as one of her hair ornaments.

Arguably the most civil discussion ever to appear in this strip.

    Is it “Super-Villain Team-Up” time?

Or will things turn ugly tomorrow?

Just what I’ve been thinking for some time is now confirmed. Sprocket is the techie of the Nitrate pair. She is not only responsible for the enhancements made to the Flattop Jr. car, but also for all the basic restoration work.

It’s nice of Stiletta to actually offer to buy the car. I thought she was going to begin by taking it by force. Still, I wouldn’t trust her if I were the Nitrates.

A small rift between Silver and Sprocket can be exploited by Stiletta if she is of a mind to do so. And there is still no report on the current condition or whereabouts of the car, either. This business discussion could quickly turn nasty….

Chris Sims, over at Comics Alliance, has some interesting thoughts on how he would have made a more extended story out of the Dick Tracy / Funky Winkerbean crossover, as long as he didn’t have any constraints on what he was allowed to do. Read it at http://comicsalliance.com/ask-chris-231-fixing-funkydick/

An ‘Eye for an Eye’ (and I’m ‘suspecting’, up ahead . . . ‘a baby’s first tooth for a child’s tooth’).

A new ‘TWIST’ to the revenge game . . .

The car will likely play a part, and for sure in her final escape phase . . .

There will be a natural reluctance to let her DIE (we’re now reading an Era, where all the more novel ‘creations’ LIVE ON - to return, and where Jail time, is just a short transient.experience. Like doing the Pig E. Bank thing - (a ‘hang around’ clown). Repeated (8 times?) return Encounters (I’ve come to call this Energy Dynamic the “DOUBLEUP” syndrome)

Max Collins started it,. Locher/ Kilian expanded it, and the new team fashioned it, to eliminate Jail time (Bail with Murder raps?) as we see this New Breed, blithely continue criminal activities in *full operational mode ?

But were she - Stiletta, really to DIE, wouldn’t it be ironic - if in her getaway attempt, she tried in the car, to duplicate the Nitrates escaping under water (like husband Flattop) and then DROWNING too - in the process ?

    Troubled ‘look-a-like’ couple . . . A Duo Dying - Breathing Bubbles !

    Morning, Tracyville!

Actually, if all the Nitrates had to build on was the car’s frame, then they don’t have Flattop’s car. The have a whole new and different car. It shouldn’t interest Stiletta at all, except from a practical standpoint.

Sorry, I call foul on this one. The Nitrates bought the car right off the showroom floor and drove off in it…they even SHOWED IT ON PANEL!

After they drove off in the car, tracy and sam got a call-in-lead about the car after lizz checked out the dealership..i BELIEVE the salesman told lizz that the woman who purchased the car wasn’t wearing any shoes, and that’s how they knew it was the nitrates.

sam and tracy gave chase until sprocket jumped it into he river/lake and after ragging the location, they didn’t find car nor nitrates at all

Good morning friends and fans. Stilleta is using diplomacy. But could quickly change to violence. However, if she injures either Silver or Sprocket that would drag the story out somewhat. Y’all have a good day.

The Nitrates indeed own the Wonder Car. On February 23 of last year, the curator of the Wonder Cars of the World Museum told Lizz that “the owners just reclaimed it.” A museum is not a dealership.

The Nitrates seem wisely deferential towards “Mrs. Flattop,” doubt they’ll drive a hard bargain. (No pun intended.)

If Sprocket is so adept at automotive restoration, why are they even bothering to run scams, though?

Couldn’t they make more money on the collector’s circuit?
