I leave coins on the ground so some little kid can pick it up. It will give the kid more pleasure than I would get.
I love finding loot….best ever was a Tightly folded $100 bill on the bank floor that must have fallen out of someone’s purse. No one in line claimed it as theirs, so it became mine.
While I wouldn’t mind a moratorium on penny production, I still pick up all pennies I find. And spend them when I can, unless they’re quite old.
