If the horse had seen Bambi, he would have known this.

Back in the 40s I saw a milkman’s horse slip on the icy street and fall. It tried to get up, but slipped again.A guy came along, went over and blew in the horse’s ear and the horse jumped to it’s feet.

True story.

It’s a shame we can’t see the color of Sir Dudley’s flag in the last panel…. any guesses? Red, maybe?

Instead of horse shoes, he’s wearing horse slippers.
