In case everyone is forgetting……the president isn’t necessarily elected by the people. He is elected by the electoral college. They can vote any way they want regardless of popular vote. The midterms are not a dress rehearsal. Those are the people actually elected by the people. If that’s not scary enough, the only thing that truly influences congress are the lobbists.
