Good morning Vagabonds.Well it looks like the blizzard will be starting late Mon. night or early Tues. morning and ending Wed. morning. They are talking 16 to 24 inches of snow with winds of 50 to 60 mph from the north east. I guess that makes Tues. a hibernation day. I don’t know if you will get any effects from it Mark.

Good morning Vagabonds..Still dark at 6:15, so I can’t tell a lot about what’s going on outside, but I can see clearly one of the red blinker lights on top of a wind tower on the ridge across the valley..Going by the weather report we’er looking at around 5" give or take. As for you woodworker, do you have a snow blower or a teenager with a shovel handy? Sounds like the wind will be a major factor for you as well..OK, God bless you all..ttfn

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

It’s a bit overcast outside, but otherwise same old same old. I sometimes envy those of you with volatile weather.

My son Mike had an emergency appendectomy last night. Thankfully is ok and will recover.

My Monday evening lecture has been cancelled due to the incoming nor-easter … both of my Tuesday classes will probably be cancelled as well … I’m just going to stay indoors and enjoy watching the snow fall.

Good Morning, Everyone in the Village,

Wow, lots and lots of activity here. First off, Arye, please let your young Chinese friend know that we would love to hear from him and learn from him as well. Arthur, please be careful with your storm coming in! It could be really bad for you. As Mark said, get one of those teenagers to help out.McPeeters………I, too, enjoy staying in and watching the snow!Jan…………sure hope Mike’s recovery will go smoothly. Always something, huh.

This was our 3rd day in a row nearly to 60 degrees! The airport down in the Valley set a record of 63 yesterday, beating the old one set in 1953. It feels so good to be outside! But, our next cold spell will start around Wed. or Thurs.
