I see the Tardis, Millennial Falcon, and ET… but what’s the black ornament on the left under the Falcon?

Had a friend that did this. He put netting on the ceiling and hung the presents from it. It lost its excitement value, so he started hanging trees straight out from walls.

Where will Roy put ET? Next to the Tardis, or near the Millenium Falcon? Or way up ‘top’ as a tree topper?

Beside, now they get to sell you a “tree topper” that will hang on upside down which of course nobody has except them so the price is x3 what it is worth.

You know, this is an excellent idea, actually. I’ve always wanted a Christmas tree, but have never had one because of my cats—NOT because they’ll break the ornaments, but because one of them will chew on the needles, whether it’s a real tree or a fake one. But if I hang it from the ceiling, high enough so they can’t get at it (not hard, they’re geriatric)…..

Think Scott just had a momentary slip-up, that’s all.

I may be out on a limb, here (pardon the pun), but, if memory recalls, the actor who played Scotty was at a Star Trek convention and mentioned that the space station that was used in the first Star Trek movie was reused in Wrath of Khan. All they did was turn the model upside down and used that as the space station where they were working on the Genesis Project.

Anyone else remember that? I’m just asking because I figured that this is why they turned the Christmas tree upside-down.

Some of the ornaments that you don’t see are on the other side.

I’ve done this since my collage days. I always tell people that hanging a tree from the ceiling leaves a lot more room under it for presents.

A friend of our family does this every year & there are 4 rooms in their house that get this treatment. After a while, it starts looking normal. Besides, cats and dogs can’t mess them up!
