    I made this mistake once at Valentines. For some reason I’d almost never had a girlfriend in February, so the holiday didn’t register in my 24yo brain. I didn’t even own a TV then so I wasn’t getting bombarded with adverts reminding me of the importance.My GF, on the other hand, knew the holiday well. She had 5 or 6 items from me, from romantic to fun to sexy. I had a stunned look on my face for her. That was a very cold week!
