^ Hey Clark, We The People already have been shafted for 6 years and are now overwhelmingly demanding change.Sorry if that harsh truth hurts your liberal feelings.
I’ve worked for the federal government and I know that the federal government for the most part is worthless. One out of three workers actually work, the other two draw a huge paycheck for doing nothing or like one lady who ran her wedding related side business on government time using government computer equipment. Government is inherently corrupt and the only thing you can do to reduce corruption in government is to reduce the size of the government.
I’m lovin’ the hate here. The thing is that Yertle now is holding the bag, he may surprise everyone and rise to the occasion now that he’s the MAN. The last few years he’s been whining about it…good, now what ya gonna do about it ?
I always felt after hearing Grimes that she was a lousy candidate. She should have skewered McConnell on his threats to end the ACA and she let him get away with something that is actually popular in the state. And her wafting on saying who she voted for just made me think she didn’t deserve to win and I’m hardcore Democrat.
Conservatives now control 3/4 of the gov’t. This is now their baby. I just hope they don’t expect the Dems to work with them. The game plan they used as a minority to take back Congress (no compromise, lack of bipartisanship, blame, blame, blame) was obviously effective. The Dems would be fools to do anything but follow it. But now Boehner and McConnell get the blame. Obama will catch some of it as well, but because he can’t run again, why do they care? Oh, and good luck with the Tea Party, Mitch; you’ll need it. You can catch and ride a rabid cougar for a while and go really fast, but the problem is that at some point you have to try to get off, and it then turns on you.
The answer to bad government is limited government, combined with reasonable processes to keep our government as accountable as possible. The sad fact is that we have never found a way to ensure good government, and as our government has increased in size and power so has corruption, heavy handedness, and bloat.
I really enjoy McConnell’s expression. That “I haven’t a clue what’s going on” look he uses for every occasion always impressed me. Let’s see how long he lasts at this job before he gets eaten by his own.

1. Impeach Obama.2. Repeal the Affordable Care Act.3. Impeach Obama again.4. Cut taxes.5. Impeach Obama until it sticks.
Simple, really.

Repubs feel the problem is government. Now they’ve gotten elected, they can prove it.
