Merry Christmas to all my friends here in Vagabond Village!
May you all have a glorious experience on this day of celebration in which we remember God’s precious gift to us, the birth of His dear Son, for our redemption!
Our boys will be coming in in a few hours to join with us in this day of celebration. We’re going to grill steaks outside on the grill instead of the usual Christmas ham. It’s cold out though, right now it’s 31 and won’t get up to more than 60 or so. So much for my prediction about short sleeves on Christmas Day? Oh well.
MARRY CHRISTMAS VAGABONDS!.We had a very nice Christmas Eve service in Albany village, with candle lighting and the bells ringing at the end..It’s raining :-( the clouds seem to be anchored right here and don’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon..Hay lets keep this jolly and feel the love of Christmas..Later..ttfn
Officially, it’s a white Christmas…….4 inches during the night. We also had a 2 hour power failure right around dinner time last night. Fortunately, it was over and I was able to cook the traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner with fish, rice and beets.
We went to a Christmas Eve candlelight service last night, with some very nice special music. Our pastor’s wife is an accomplished singer with a beautiful voice and they made a great team with him reading the Christmas story from Luke and her adding special songs at certain points. It was great to have both my guys with me at church!
It is very windy right now. No white Christmas, and it probably won’t get above 60, but we have sunshine, family and presents to open.
