The 70s were anything but a dreamworld.

    I lived in the ‘60s. I don’t miss them.

The current crop in office is a product of the 60’s, which explains a lot.

Football players use a lot of amphetamines, and they know they have to take them.

We are still hearing about performance enhancing drugs in 2014 in “sport.”

The weed available now is much stronger than what was available in the 60’s. So I hear.

I don’t think this strip will go far enough to include the infamous Lava-Lava Lenny, too bad.

My favorite Doonebury of all time is coming up. Punchline: “Yeah, but I’m pretty sure it was affiliated with a college.” (Said by one football player to another, the first one claiming that he went to college at “DKE” while the second one went to USC.)

I loved the 60’s. But for me in middle income rural America, it just meant getting through high school and loving the fashions.

I remember the 60s and I was there. I don’t remember the first time I heard that joke, but I probably thought it was funny then.

I can’t remember anyone’s political slant, but we should all remember to attack the idea, we find troublesome preferably with reliable facts, but not the writer.

@LameRandomName – we have been HYBRIDIZING same or similar species of plants, etc for 1000’s of years- which is FAR different than actual genetic manipulation as is practiced now- GENETIC MANIPULATION ala Monsanto, BASF, etc- only came about recently- and there is NOTHING good about adding genes from Ecoli into food, etc etc etc ANYBODY who thinks Monsanto, et al isn’t pure evil can just bow out of humanity NOW…
