I think the color person got Bob’s lime wrong….

I know exactly how poor old Bob feels …

So that’s why Mr. Miller went to lower case, to make room for a certain expanding waistline.

When it comes to making excuses, Bob’s raising the bar.

Poor Bob, gotta pay attention to a weight and balance situaltion before the cafe has to replace a bar stool.

My office chairs tend to do that. I’ve found that they make “fat boy” heavy-duty extra-wides now (I used to just drill a hole through the piston and put a bolt there to hold it up).

I sense a disturbance in the force. Some recent strips have been using lower case lettering in the dialogue balloons. At first it appeared random, but checking back I see that it’s only in conversations involving Joe, Bob, Flo, and/or Cap’n Eddie. Hmmmmm . . .

@ Observer fo irony and Bdaysuit: We’ve been through this before with Bob. According to Wiley, he was based on Dabney Coleman.

Isn’t Bob a lawyer? So should we be in for the bi-monthly “trial of the century?”

Please leave the cheap jokes to the cartoonist.

The way I remember it, he is modeled after someone Wiley knows who just happens to look like Nixon.
