I give cash and a Christmas card. A hand written Merry Christmas and that is that. They can buy what they want, if Satan Claus drops off a stuffed bear or whatever great, it not Oh well, Happy New Year!
I like cash!.Well, gold is better; but I still like cash! Besides, dropping a bag of gold dust on the counter to pay for a purchase just creates too much commotion…
DO NOT buy gift cards for stores that are in danger of going out of business, & this year, that once again includes K-mart, J.C. Penney, & Radio Shack. If the stores close before you spend the balance on the card, you never get it.

I wish I could get away with that… Every year the family gets bigger and bigger.

My dad always gave cash folded into those little gift card envelopes. He called his gifts “generic gift cards.”

oddly enough, the latest issue of consumer reports recommended cash instead of gift cards.

Fang can buy himself a new collar, butcher bone and/or six pack. Cash is always a good gift.

Cash – the universal gift card. Can be spent just about anywhere for necessities or frivolities.
