Sure. We agree that those, who come after us (next election), must… no, shall… no, should do something quite costly for them, so that maybe at 2100 consequences of our actions will not be so severe. Yeah! We saved the world!
we are doing something about it we building stronger homes and higher off the ground and some areas can not be rebuilt in I think we should adopt the no build in floodplains codes that most of the rest of the country has enforced
If our leaders were serious about CO2 rather than a power grab, they would concentrate on planting trees on all federal land, have incentives for private owner to do the same- but instead we strip trees away from the interstates and add to the CO2 by mowing thousands of acres of federal land with fossil fueled mowers. They would also stop flying all over the place for summits and conferences to rehash the same crap in order to make it to the media to try and keep us barraged til we believe their lies- online conferencing uses far less fuel. But, I realize logic and common sense have no place in American politics so I will dismount my soap box.

based upon UN data, If you do the math, the contribution by humans is just 0.15% of the existing CO2. I find it hard to believe that is a problem.
