Another thing is it sticks to a lot of other things besides itself.
There is no such thing as Velcro, it’s a trademarked brand name for hook and loop fasteners. Kind of like there is no such thing as a Kleenex or Jello.

There’s always a flaw!
Some of these new shoes with 500 eyelets are a pain in the butt.
I have sandals with Velcro and Earl is right I have to remove string or whatever fiber attaches to it. My feet too wide.
I have never learned how to tie shoelaces so I’ve had Velcro on shoes too.
