Velcro is a much-defended trademark. Is it real Velcro?

There is no such thing as Velcro, it’s a trademarked brand name for hook and loop fasteners. Kind of like there is no such thing as a Kleenex or Jello.

Velcro is the name of the company, not the product they make. I would know since they give me a paycheck every week :)
